The first step in a bonded-insert is identifying a donor carpet. This can be obtained from the carpet store that the carpet was purchase or from closet or reminant left over during installation.
Once the new carpet has been obtained, we cut out the damaged area of the carpet and insert the new carpet. The carpet is then seamed into place, just like the Original installation of the carpet. This process is permenant and should hold up for the life of the carpet.
